Droplet Entrapping Microfluidic Cell-sorter (DREM cell) is an ultra-high-throughput single-cell sorting platform based on droplet microfluidic technology. It can generate thousands of microdroplets (pL) per second. Encapsulated in microdroplets, cells can carry out biochemical processes such as growth and lysis, combine with the fluorescent sieves to generate different intensity signals. Then low-yield and high-yield cells are sorted out by fluorescent signals of microdroplets, to achieve high-throughput sorting.
