The Automatic Microbial Adaptive Laboratory Evolution Instrument (EVOL cell) is a microbial domestication instrument developed based on high gas permeability microtube and single-phase microfluidic technology which has functions such as microbial culture, subculture, gradient addition of chemical factors, and oxygen partial pressure control. The instrument uses microtubes as microbioreactors and has good permeability to a variety of gases (oxygen, nitrogen, carbon dioxide, etc.), fully meeting the gas exchange needs of the culture process. Using oxygen partial pressure control technology, the gas environment around the reactor can be flexibly controlled, which can be applied to the cultivation and adaptive evolution of a variety of microorganisms.
